KEI TEA - Carmel, Indiana
How to Enjoy Loose Tea and Herbs: For the best taste, use fresh water without chlorine to brew loose teas or herbs. (Spring water is preferable.) A strainer may be helpful for brewing, but not necessary. Normally, use one teaspoonful of loose tea leaves for one cup of tea. Pour not-quite boiling water over the tea leaves in a cup with a lid. Steep 5 minutes (for black and oolong teas) or 3 minutes (for green and white teas). Enjoy the tea hot or iced. Our quality loose tea can be re-brewed up to 3 times, with the second brewing tasting the best.

Loose Herbal Teas

With profound knowledge and experiences in herbal and tea fields, we developed our special Herbal Teas. All the major ingredients used in our Herbal Teas have stood the test of time as superb herbs which can be used by broad spectrum of people both safely and helpful. In addition, we add some natural dried fruits or flowers to harmonize the herbal functions and balance the teas tastes, which made the teas safer, more effective and enjoyable. All the major and added ingredients are naturally caffeine free.

When you use these herbal teas, please be advised that herbs are NOT drugs. People usually take drugs with expectation that the drug will make them better. Taking blood sugar medications for reducing high blood sugar levels, or aspirin for headache might help your conditions. This approach does not work with natural herbs. In the herbal system, the human body, mind, and spirit are experienced as one complete whole, within themselves, with the environment. The goal of our Herbal Teas is to aid the body’s adapting mechanisms to restore a balance and harmony among the body’s organs, and between the human body and environment. As a results, the user of these teas can enjoy a balanced and harmonized life*.

Herbal Teas are normally used twice a day. Every morning, place 2-4 teaspoons of loose herbal blend into a strainer and brew it with 12-16 fl. oz. of boiling water and steep for ten ( 10 ) minutes. Save the brewed herbal blend and drink warm. In the afternoon, use the brewed blend which was saved in the morning to make the second brewing, simply by adding 12 fl. oz of fresh hot water and steeping five ( 5 ) minutes. Drink warm.
